Opus
In today’s digital world, social media platforms offer spaces for creatives to share their work, but finding the right collaborators for passion projects or specific expertise remains challenging. Many creatives struggle to connect with people who have the right skills, shared interests, or a willingness to collaborate without financial compensation. Over five weeks, I designed a social network platform tailored for creatives seeking collaboration. This platform aims to streamline the process of finding and connecting with like-minded creatives, fostering an inclusive space for project partnerships.

Problem
Creatives often face difficulties when trying to find collaborators with the right skills, experience, or shared interest in non-commercial, passion-driven projects.
Solution
I developed a social network platform designed specifically to connect creatives for collaboration with advanced filtering to match users based on skills, interests, and project goals.
Impact
This project challenged me to think about how to connect creatives and enable collaboration. It was instrumental in expanding my UX design toolkit and to my acceptance into a UX design program.

Wireframes
For the mobile app design, I created wireframes to explore the user flow and layout of the features.
Usability Testing
I tested the app on users with a prototype flow to identify features that can be improved.
1
Design
The layout of the project thumbnails should include more information regarding the project roles and team.
2
Navigation
Users were able to navigate through the main flow, but some actions such as “assign tasks” were not clear.
3
Overview
The layout is user-friendly and minimal, but there should be more focus on collaboration features.

Final App Design
The Onboarding process presents interest-related questions to create a user profile & recommendations.
