Effective Accelerationism + Food Security
In a world where effective accelerationism fuels rapid technological progress and the world becomes more aware of limited resources, engineered food has become commonplace offering greater food security as farming and agriculture resources dry up. Over time, the act of eating becomes less about necessity and more about optimization. AI-driven VitaCraft machines replace traditional kitchens and the act of cooking, instantly formulating personalized meals based on genetic profiles, mood, and even daily cognitive demands. These meals are produced using bioengineered proteins and 3D-printed ingredients, ensuring peak nutrition with minimal waste.
Sustenance itself becomes a frontier for experimentation. Entire cultures redefine what it means to “eat.” Consuming naturally-grown food shifts into a luxury experience and status symbol and consuming animal meat at all becomes a taboo. Food deserts are erased by on-demand nutrition drones delivering sustenance to anyone, anywhere.

This machine is a variation of personalized meal machines central to every household in this world that can be used to customize meal substitutes and produce food.
Final Design
To imagine where the VitaCraft would be found, I rendered two different settings that reflects where it might be used. One as a personal home device and another as a shared device in a public office setting.
